The school year has officially come to an end as classes finish on May 4, 2020.

It was the end of an eventful, surprising, and wildly unconventional year in which the last few weeks of school were conducted entirely online.

Distance learning, as the practice became known, was what PHS faculty and students had to turn to in order to complete their school year.

Google Classroom and Zoom calls were all utilized to make the learning experience as immersive as possible.

Still, distance learning has proven to be a challenge, one that the PHS faculty and students have conquered, but most certainly don’t want to do again.

Fortunately, they won’t. Until further notice, school is expected to resume as normal in August 2020. For the first time, students might find themselves relieved to be learning on campus.
