BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD: The Duncan twins, seniors Christian and Cameron, pose for a photo after signing to SAU.

Christian, who plays right-handed pitcher and outfield, will receive $6,600 academically as well as $3,000 athletically. Cameron, who pitches and plays and outfield, will receive $6,600 academically and $2,000 athletically. They plan to attend ACT workshops to raise the amount they receive in academic scholarships.

The Duncans, who are twins, were spotted at a game last spring by a SAU representative and invited to attend a Fall Prospect Camp in October 2019. They accepted the invitation.

Christian and Cameron wanted to go to the same college.

The twins were also approached by Johnson County Community College, Carl Albert State College, Missouri Baptist University, Murray State College, Coffeyville Community College, Missouri Central University, Kansas University, and Northwestern State University.

“The whole recruiting process really started this summer,” said Christian.  “It was almost like there was nobody, then there was everybody.”

After university, Cameron plans to go into law enforcement or business, while Christian wants to become a chiropractor.
