What to Do When You’re Single on Valentines Day

I hate loves songs I really do, I think cupid is stupid and violets are purple not blue.

Being single on Valentines Day can be depressing and not fun but the best thing to do is to just enjoy it. On Valentines Day just have fun and enjoy yourself and be you. Here are five main goals to achieve that day.

The first goal is to laugh it up! Don’t stress get in a good mood be happy enjoy yourself. You also should cuddle up on the couch with your pet and a blanket. Treat yourself with a box of chocolates, some popcorn, and watch a movie.

The second goal is to have a single party. Get with your single friends and maybe have them invite their single friends. Play some boards games, read some jokes, think of memories that you have had together. Have them bring snacks, their favorite movie to watch, and maybe even bring their pets.

The third goal is to  just treat yourself. What I mean by that, is get yourself whatever you want. If you want to go to the movies, go to the movies. Do something you have always wanted to do on Valentines day. Go buy yourself a big stuffed animal and chocolates.

The fourth goal to do is to catch up with someone you miss. It is very easy to get distracted and go your separate ways. Call or FaceTime someone you haven’t talked to in awhile maybe even invite them over for dinner. Catch each other up on what’s been going on in each other’s lives. Just remember to have fun.

The fifth goal is to love yourself. Cut yourself some slack and just be you. Dance to your favorite albums. Out of everything, remember there is no one else out there like you. You don’t need to be in a relationship to enjoy life and have fun.
