One of my favorite things to do is play RPGs (Role-playing games). In good RPGs, you can do whatever you want and every choice has a consequence. They also give you adventure as you can choose how your story ends. Bandersnatch takes this idea, and puts it in movie form.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is a Netflix original interactive movie. It is unique because it lets the viewer gets to choose what the main character does and how the story can end. This makes one of the fun and creative movies that I have ever seen.

Bandersnatch tells the story of Stefan Butler (played by Fionn Whitehead) who is developing a video game in the early 80s. He drives himself mad trying to create this game and thinks he is being manipulated and controlled. The story then shifts, depending on what choices you made. The endings can rage from an intense fight scene to him becoming a kid again.

This movie is really great and proves that Netflix can make some incredibly awesome movies. The ideas of him being controlled and manipulated make this a great psychological horror film. The acting is really good and I can’t stop praising the choose-your-own adventure style that it has.

In my opinion, this movie deserves the praise that it is receiving. Watching this movie with my friends was a great way to start off the new year. I give this movie a 10/10.
