Many of us want to have healthy hair, and here are a few tips to achieve that. These are some ways to keep your hair healthy, and some things to know about your hair that will help it in many ways.

 

When you wash your hair, here are a few things to remember:

 

Tip #1

When you go to wash your hair use leave-in conditioners and dry shampoos.  You can at least use them once a week to provide moisture for your hair while making it softer. Therefore, instead of washing your hair everyday, give your hair a few days to breathe. Let the natural oils replenish your hair and roots.

 

Tip #2

Always use a comb. Wet hair is more prone to damage than dry hair. Your hair is a lot more likely to break when wet. Never use your hand to comb your hair it can cause damage and lead to hair loss.

 

Tip #3

When you are combing your hair, remember to start from the ends up; not from roots down. This is a good thing to remember so that you don’t accidentally rip out wads of hair.

 

Tip #4

After your hair is dry, avoid unnecessary brushing and handling because it causes your natural oils to rise to the surface making your hair look oily.

 

Tip #5

Do not towel dry your hair. It is better to use a old shirt or nothing at all. By using a old shirt, it helps protect your hair from damaging dryness. A towel absorbs the good moisture from your hair.  

 

Always know that your hair can’t grow overnight. Despite that, scissors are your best friend because when you cut the dead ends off it helps your hair grow better. Use conditioner every time you use shampoo but don’t use shampoo every time you wash your hair in the shower. Using cold water to rinse your hair is a good final step because it helps prevent hair loss.

 

You can also do oil mask treatments two to three times every week. Consider trying hair boosting supplements and always brush your hair like its spun from gold. Ditch your cotton pillowcases.

 

You can get smarter about your shampoo, and change the way you condition your hair. Many people think they need to wash their hair everyday, but washing hair too often can actually dry your hair out or weigh it down with product. For a lot of people, washing your hair twice a week is adequate.
